MCS Portal
MCSS portal is an enterprise information portal (EIP) allowing both operating merchants and customers to logon and retrieve information for use. Backend of the portal is a robust and security protected data warehouse maintaining various customer and sales information captured from merchant’s POS or MCS Card reader/writer. When activated by query programs, requested data will be passed through the high-speed gateway to the portal front end which consists of two main features – a CRM for retailers and an information corner.
The CRM module is a suite of data analysis tools enabling operating merchants to look at their customer data in a number of different ways ranging from high-level summaries to detailed analysis of individual customers. Choosing from the standard MCSS analysis or creating their own sets, MCSS is about ensuring that customer data is presented to merchants in a meaningful way. They may opt to download the analytical data into their own system for verification with their own sets or to synchronize third-party databases for further analysis. The flexibility aims at giving better insights to merchants about their customers so that they can implement proactive actions to improve relationship, earn their loyalty and inspire sales. Using the cutting-edge On Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools in the module, these data can further be converted into multi-dimensional, fact-based business intelligence that drive better business performance.
The information corner offers user-friendly features to enable communications between merchants and the public in the digital world. It enables cardholders to obtain latest information about their bonus scores and entitlements in various program operators so that cardholders can decide on the most appropriate way to redeem their bonuses.
Operating merchants can maintain relevant promotional information in the Corner to keep public fully abreast of their latest development, events, product and services. They can maintain their reward catalogs to enable cardholders to understand the benefits offered and they can even navigate cardholders to visit their own websites through hyperlink. MCSS will provide browsing statistics to program operators on a periodical basis to enable them to understand browsing trends and effectiveness of the portal so that program operators can utilize the portal features in the most effective way.
